The POWER of Probiotics

The word “probiotic” is a compound of two Greek words: “pro,” to signify promotion of and “biotic,” which means life. FOR LIFE! Probiotics give you the essentials for life: good bacteria.  By taking a good, quality probiotic in capsule or liquid form, or eating probiotic rich foods or drinks, you are effectively “crowding out” the bad bacteria with the good.  Now I have to tell you that eating pasteurized yogurt with loads of sugar is not going to help you out. No matter what the commercials tell you, you would have to eat a bucket or two to reach the amount of good bacteria you are looking to attain. Stick with the Kombucha, fermented veggies and take a good quality probiotic drink or capsule. 

Proper levels of good bacteria promote glowing skin, a healthy weight, and feeling fabulous for a lifetime. When the good bacteria are restored in your gut, weight will slide off of you. Your skin will glow. Your sleep will improve. Your mood will shift. Your perspective on life will change.

You may never think about your digestion as being directly related to weight loss, but it is! Weight loss directly links to the balance of good bacteria in your gut. Good bacteria are essential for a productive detox, proper digestion, and ultimately a healthy immune system.  Having good bacteria in your gut is a major preventative measure against colds, flu, digestive upset, weight gain, allergies and sinus issues.  Also, by adding good bacteria to your gut, you are improving your serotonin levels, a.k.a. the happy hormone.

  •  Decrease toxicity
  •  Decrease allergies
  •  Improve adrenal function
  •  Increase energy
  •   Improve sleep
